The GRE General Prep Course will be held in the Macy Building, Room 201, on the UNC Charlotte Main Campus, 9201 University City Boulevard, Charlotte, NC.

Steven Shotts
Steven Shotts is the director of curriculum development and lead instructor for GRE, GMAT, and LSAT test preparation classes at UNC Charlotte. He received a degree in Pure Mathematics from Florida State University, and has taught test preparation classes at several universities. He has more than 15 years experience working with standardized tests and has worked as a test item writer for state exams. For more than a decade he has developed test preparation courses for a number of exams, and has personally helped hundreds of students reach their standardized testing goals.

Fee/Early Registration Discount
The registration fee of $849 includes instruction, workbooks, handout materials, and parking. Registrations received by 5:00 p.m. on May 30, 2008 will be discounted by $50 ($799).
Payment Options
Participants registering before 5 p.m. May 24, 2008 have the option of (1) paying the registration fee in full at the time of registration or (2) submitting a deposit of $400 at the time of registration, with the $399 balance due no later than 5:00 p.m. on May 30, 2008. If the balance due is not received by 5:00 p.m. on May 30, 2008, the participant's registration in the program will automatically be cancelled and a refund of the deposit will be processed.
Participants registering after 5 p.m. May 24, 2008 will owe the entire fee at the time of registration.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received by 5:00 p.m. on May 30, 2008, will be entitled to a full refund of the registration fee. Cancellations received between 5:00 p.m. on May 30, 2008, and 5:00 p.m. on June 13, 2008, will be entitled to a refund less a $50 late-cancellation charge.
No refunds will be given for cancellations received after 5:00 p.m. on June 13, 2008. No refunds will be given to students who fail to attend the program for which they are registered.
Registration may be transferred to another offering with a $50 fee before 5:00 p.m. on June 13, 2008.
Reservation of Rights
UNC Charlotte reserves the right to substitute instructors, change the day a program meets, change the location of a program, or cancel programs due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen events. If UNC Charlotte must cancel a program, participants will be given a full refund of the registration fee. The University is not responsible for non-refundable plane fares, hotel and car deposits, or any other expenses incurred by registrants in programs.
