From Narayan Mahon, a 2006 GRE Prep Course participant: “Well, I took the [GRE] test today and my total score went up 230 points! Thanks for all the help!”
From Courtney Fletcher, a 2005 GRE Prep Course participant: “I just want to formally thank you [Steve Shotts] for making the GRE class both easy to understand and humorous…I thought you were a very talented instructor who was able to teach others the rather numerous concepts needed to master the GRE…I appreciate the sincerity and the seriousness with which you approach a group of individuals who are preparing to take a test that may ultimately change their lives!”
From a 2005 GRE Prep Course participant: “I was in your June GRE class and have been admitted to the Ed.D. program at NC State, which was my first-choice program. Thanks again!”
From “Katie,” who took our 2004 GRE Prep Course: “…I got a 1090 on my GRE. This well exceeds the score I need to get into the program for which I’m applying, and I’m just elated. There is no way that I could have done as well without the help of the GRE class [Steve] taught – my initial test score was a 920, and I was able to bring that up 170 points, based on the skills and strategies you provided. Thanks so much – the class was truly a worthwhile experience.”
From a 2004 GRE Prep Class participant to Steve Shotts, a GRE Prep Course instructor: “After taking your class…I had a 180-point increase [in my GRE exam score]. I have never been strong in the verbal section, and I believe you really helped in increasing my verbal score on the GRE. Your help with the math section was amazing as well. I really appreciate your dedication to the course…thank you.”
